Upcoming events you won't want to miss!

April 2 – Opening Day parade – follow the link below to the parade website for more information

http://www.findlaymarketparade.com/

The Ross Marching Band will perform this year at the Cincinnati Reds Opening Day Parade!  We have never done this parade in the history of our band.  We have been accepted for the 2018 parade.  This is the 99th annual Opening Day Parade.  The date is April 2, 2018.  The parade steps off at noon.  The actual name is the Findlay Market Parade.  The band will march down Race street and end up near Fountain Square on 5th.  Also - this year the Red's Opening Day is March 29th. The parade though, is still on April 2 when the Red's play the Chicago Cubs.

April 7 – Miracle League Parade – Fairfield

The band has also been asked to play the opening day parade for the Miracle League in Fairfield.  This is an organization that benefits youth with disabilities.  The parade is Saturday April 7 - 10 am.  We step off at Sacred Heart church and end at the Waterworks Park in Fairfield.  A fairly short parade.  Great community service for our students.  There is information about the Miracle League parade on the internet.

May 11 and 12 – Jazz Band performing at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The Jazz Band has been selected to perform at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland!  We will take school buses.  We leave right after school on Friday May 11 and stay over night.  We tour and perform at the Rock Hall on May 12 - noon.  We will return to Ross on Saturday May 12.

Other band members are permitted to come along on this trip.  Chaperones are also welcome.  Contact Mr. Roemer for more details if interested in going.
